On the morning of July 24, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Director of Nghe An Center for Disease Control informed: In the past 12 hours (from 7:00 p.m. on July 23 to 7:00 a.m. on July 24), Nghe An recorded 4 new cases positive for Covid-19.

1.Patient LTS, male (born 1990). Occupation: Freelance. Address: Dong Trau hamlet, Son Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district. The patient is F1 and is the husband of patient NTH who was previously announced. On July 19, the patient and his family members returned from Thuan An (Binh Duong) to Yen Thanh and were quarantined at Son Thanh Kindergarten. On July 20 and 21, the patient's first and second samples were sent to the CDC and the test results were negative. On July 23, the patient's third sample was taken and the test result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

2.Patient NTP, male (born 2012)Address: Dong Trau hamlet, Son Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district. On July 22, the patient and his family traveled from Di An (Binh Duong) to Yen Thanh and were quarantined at Son Thanh Kindergarten. On July 23, the patient's sample was taken and sent to Nghe An CDC. On the morning of July 24, the test result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
3.Patient CKH, male (born 1987). Occupation: Driver. Address: Thot Not ward, Thot Not district, Can Tho city. The patient was in the same car and is F1 of the previously announced LVC patient. The patient transported goods on the Tien Giang - Lang Son route. On July 21, the patient was quarantined at the Quynh Luu District Medical Center and the first sample was taken for testing with a negative result. On July 23, the patient was sampled for the second time, and on the morning of July 24, the test result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
4.Patient LAN, male (born 1984)Address: Dai Dong Commune, Thanh Chuong District. On July 23, the patient and his friend drove a pickup truck from Tan Uyen (Binh Duong) to Nghe An. At 4:20 p.m. on July 23, the patient went to Nghe An CDC for testing, then was quarantined at the old Thanh Hung Medical Station. On the morning of July 24, the test result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
