Morning of June 5: 77 more cases; Ha Tinh holds urgent meeting at dawn because a couple was found to have Covid-19
(Baonghean.vn) - Ha Tinh province leaders had to hold an urgent meeting at dawn because a couple tested positive for Covid-19.
Early morning of June 5, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Ha Tinh province had to urgently meet after discovering a cluster of Covid-19 cases at Group 12, Doai Thinh, Thach Trung, Ha Tinh city.
According to the report, the patient couple is NVM (56 years old) and NTH (52 years old), permanent residents of Di An City, Binh Duong.

Through epidemiological investigation, on May 29, a man named T. from Hanoi went to Binh Duong to work with 3 company officials, then went to Mr. M.'s house for dinner.
On May 31, Mr. T. in Hanoi learned that someone in his company tested positive for Covid-19, so he declared and quarantined himself. On June 3, in his second test, Mr. T. tested positive.
On June 4, after learning that Mr. T. in Hanoi had Covid-19, the family contacted the provincial Center for Disease Control to collect samples for Mr. NVM, Ms. NTH and 6 family members who had been in close contact. The test results confirmed that the couple were positive for Covid-19.
In another development, the Ministry of Health on the morning of June 5 recorded 77 positive cases, including 75 domestic cases and 2 imported cases that were immediately quarantined. The 77 new cases were recorded from number 8288-8364. Of the 75 domestic cases, 45 were in Bac Giang, 19 in Bac Ninh, 10 in Ho Chi Minh City, and 1 in Ha Nam.
Thus, as of today, the total number of infections in Bac Ninh has exceeded 1,000, reaching 1,017. The number of new infections also brings the total number of cases in Bac Giang to 2,864, Ho Chi Minh City to 324, Ha Nam to 46. The total number of community infections from April 27 to now is 5,250, recorded in 37 provinces and cities.
