Prolonged rain and floods from October 9-14 caused landslides that ate into the alluvial land in hamlet 2, Thanh Ha commune about 3m.
According to Mr. Phan Van Lan - Chairman of Thanh Ha Commune People's Committee, this is Rong beach with a total area of about 35 hectares. Recently, due to many objective reasons, including illegal sand dredging which has changed the flow, along with many days of rain, the alluvial beach has been seriously eroded, eating deep into the mainland.
