The Foreign Information Regulations stipulate the principles, methods and contents of coordination; responsibilities of relevant agencies, organizations and individuals in the management and operation of the Foreign Information Cluster at Nam Can International Border Gate (Ky Son district).

The foreign information cluster under the national target program brings information to the grassroots through the Project "Enhancing information and communication content about the grassroots, mountainous, remote, border and island areas in the period of 2013-2015" invested by the Central Government, handed over to Nghe An province for management and use, is a means of posting information to propagate the Party's policies, the State's policies and laws on foreign affairs; on state management and border and territorial protection.

This is also a channel to introduce traditional cultural values ​​about the country and people of Vietnam in general and Nghe An province in particular; promote the potential and strengths of the province to domestic and international tourists.

Steering Committee member Ho Thi Ngan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper, said that in order to maintain regularity, continuity, ensure quality, operate in the right direction, and maximize propaganda effectiveness, it is necessary to develop a specific and appropriate plan.

At the meeting, members of the Steering Committee for External Information gave their opinions to perfect the regulations, focusing on contents such as management, operation, ensuring safety of facilities, assets, and equipment belonging to the External Information Cluster system; providing updated information to the External Information Cluster; producing and providing external information products to serve people and tourists through Nam Can International Border Gate; funding sources for the activities of the External Information Cluster, etc.
