Accordingly, speaking at the meeting, Director of the Provincial Police Nguyen Huu Cau stated the reality that Nghe An is facing, which is that there are small fires but they leave behind huge damages, notably fires at karaoke businesses and restaurants.
"These are cases where private homes are mainly used for business, so it is difficult to check fire prevention and fighting work," said Colonel Cau.

Referring to the fire that occurred on March 18 at the Avatar hotel, bar, and karaoke complex on Nguyen Sy Sach Street, Vinh City, the head of the provincial police said that by using a ladder truck during the firefighting process, the provincial firefighting force successfully rescued 3 victims. However, in this fire, 1 victim died on the 8th floor of the building.
“Avatar Hotel renovated a karaoke room, the welding process caused a fire, killing one person, causing quite a lot of damage. The provincial police will soon prosecute this case,” said Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau./.
