Attracting business investment

The opinions of the meeting participants affirmed that the issuance of policies to encourage businesses and investors in agriculture and rural areas in the province is very necessary, contributing to creating conditions and promoting investors and businesses to invest in agriculture and rural areas.

The meeting members proposed to amend the title to match the content of the draft Resolution.

Regarding credit access support policies, delegates suggested that it is necessary to regulate the level of support for the difference in commercial loan interest rates. Specify the maximum loan support for projects in different regions and areas; and control the maximum amount in cash for agricultural projects.

Concluding this content, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council Le Hong Vinh said: Attracting enterprises to invest in agriculture is still limited, so issuing a resolution on policies to encourage enterprises to invest in agriculture and rural areas in the province is expected to "stimulate" enterprises to invest in the agricultural and rural areas.

Comrade Le Hong Vinh requested the drafting agency to absorb the comments of the meeting participants to perfect the content to be submitted to the upcoming Provincial People's Council meeting.

Product consumption link

The meeting participants also listened to and gave their opinions on the Draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council regulating policies to support linkage in production and consumption of agricultural products in Nghe An province according to Decree No. 98/2018/ND-CP dated July 5, 2018.

According to the draft Resolution, the annual support budget is expected to be from 15-17 billion VND from the career capital of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, along with the provincial budget and other legal capital sources.

Regarding this content, the issues that delegates are concerned about are implementation measures; connection and calling for investors to join in production organization; prioritizing funding sources; and controlling the support level during a certain period of production implementation.
