The McLaren MSO HS is a limited-edition supercar that first debuted in August 2016. According to McLaren, only 25 MSO HS supercars were produced and sold globally. This makes the McLaren MSO HS even ten times rarer than the P1 supercar.

It's safe to say that, with its limited production run, each McLaren MSO HS is a unique masterpiece. However, among the 25 McLaren MSO HS supercars ever produced, some are even more special. The McLaren MSO HS with its all-carbon exterior shown below is a prime example.

Images of the McLaren MSO HS with its exterior completely covered in carbon fiber appeared online a few days ago and immediately attracted attention. These images show that the body of the McLaren MSO HS is wrapped in bare carbon fiber. As a result, the McLaren MSO HS looks more aggressive and impressive from every angle.

From a distance, the familiar textures of the carbon fiber material aren't very noticeable, making the McLaren MSO HS look like it's painted gray. However, a closer look reveals the impeccable craftsmanship of the engineers at McLaren's MSO division.

Of course, this isn't the first McLaren MSO HS to boast such an impressive exterior. Previously, McLaren MSO HS models with color-changing paint jobs or striking matte red paint finishes have been spotted.

The McLaren MSO HS is essentially a more impressive version of the familiar 675LT Coupe supercar. Belonging to the Super Series, the McLaren MSO HS is also developed based on the 650S, similar to the 675LT Coupe.

The highlights of the McLaren MSO HS include a range of carbon fiber details such as the front wing, side skirts, air intakes, hood, and roof. The roof even features air intakes to enhance the McLaren MSO HS's aerodynamics.

Additionally, the McLaren MSO HS is equipped with a large, electronically controlled rear wing that can be adjusted to suit street or track driving. This wing also acts as an air brake and generates 220 kg of downforce when the car is traveling at 241 km/h.

All of these details help the McLaren MSO HS reduce its weight by 40 kg compared to its sibling, the 675LT Coupe. Even the windshield and windows of the McLaren MSO HS underwent a weight-cutting process. Meanwhile, the engine compartment cover is made from polycarbonate plastic.

The heart of the McLaren MSO HS is a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 gasoline engine, producing a maximum power of 688 horsepower and a maximum torque of 700 Nm. Compared to the 675LT Coupe, the McLaren MSO HS is 13 horsepower more powerful while the torque remains unchanged.

Inside, the McLaren MSO HS features equipment designed for track driving, similar to the 675LT Coupe. This includes the McLaren Track Telemetry system, which analyzes lap times with the help of three cameras and GPS mapping.
