Van Anh - a student at Hanoi University of Business and Technology shared: "I consulted some coffee shops, each cup of Thai tea costs 30,000-40,000 VND, quite expensive for students. Therefore, I decided to make Thai milk tea to sell, because this drink is easy to make and does not take much time."

On average, Van Anh sells a 350ml bottle for 20,000 VND, a 500ml bottle for 25,000 VND. On hot days, the female student sells nearly 100 bottles, earning about 1.5 million VND, minus the cost of raw materials, the profit is about 800,000 VND. "In peak months, I earn 20-25 million VND. To make the product more eye-catching, I import more types of bottles and glass jars, then tie them with pretty bows to store them if customers need them. Of course, the cost will increase a bit, but many people still support it," Van Anh said.

The price of milk tea is suitable for many students.

Unlike Van Anh, Thuy Dung, a student at the University of Commerce, sells milk tea in a "both-sell and-give" style. Because she only makes it to sell to acquaintances, Dung's milk tea costs 10,000 VND for a 350ml bottle and 15,000 VND for a 500ml bottle.

Appearing in Vietnam for a long time, but in the last 1-2 years, this Thai tea has developed rapidly in the youth community because of its delicious, refreshing taste, eye-catching colors, and affordable prices. The wholesale price of ingredients for making Thai tea is quite cheap. Thanh Hang, a third-year student at the University of Transport (Hanoi), who specializes in selling jackfruit yogurt on Facebook, shared: "My best friend and I are working together to do online business. All we spend is money to buy jackfruit, yogurt, jellies, and boxes. Therefore, if we calculate the original price, the cost of a cup of jackfruit yogurt with full ingredients is not high. My profit is 3 times the capital but orders are still very regular."

Thuy Chi, owner of an online shop selling sweet and refreshing chè khúc bạch in Cau Giay, Hanoi, said: "For those who love the refreshing sweetness, chè khúc bạch is an irresistible dish. After researching on some websites, I tried to make it myself to enjoy and then tried selling it to serve friends near and far. Each bowl of chè khúc bạch, depending on the type and ingredients, costs between 7,000 and 15,000 VND. If customers order 3 bowls or more, I will ship it."

A bowl of refreshing white jelly dessert costs 7,000-15,000 VND.

My Linh - the small owner of an orange juice shop on Instagram is known to her friends for her squeezed oranges. On normal days, she uses about 5-10 kg to make glasses of orange juice, but on the hottest days, it can be up to 20-30 kg. Many days, office workers call to deliver 4 times more than usual. Every kg of oranges produces 6 glasses, so the daily consumption can be up to 180 glasses, earning up to 500,000 VND.
