Nghe An students bring a warm Tet to children in Ky Son district
(Baonghean.vn) - Hundreds of gifts with a total value of over 100 million VND were presented by the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Student Association to students of Huoi Tu 2 Primary School, Huoi Tu Commune, Ky Son District.

Promoting the role of Nghe An students in implementing volunteer activities in difficult areas, border areas, remote areas, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the Provincial Student Association Secretariat and student associations of 9 universities and colleges under the Provincial Youth Union organized the program "Warm Tet for children" - Journey "Proud of Vietnamese student tradition".
This is a meaningful activity to celebrate the success of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Students' Association and the 4th Congress of the Vietnam Students' Association of Nghe An province, term 2023 - 2028, to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the traditional day of students and the Vietnam Students' Association (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2024).

At the program, the Organizing Committee presented 332 warm coats, 210 cotton pillows, 60 blankets and 30 storage chests to students of Huoi Tu 2 Primary School with a total value of 100 million VND.
In order to care for, support and accompany students in difficult circumstances to strive to study well, at the same time, wishing for a warmer and more fulfilling Tet for them, the Program Organizing Committee coordinated with DVT Construction and Consulting Joint Stock Company to give 15 gifts, with a total value of more than 10 million VND to students in difficult circumstances at Huoi Tu 2 Primary School.

Previously, 332 gifts including cakes, candies and learning equipment prepared by students from local universities and colleges were also given to 332 students at Huoi Tu 2 Primary School.
Responding to the campaign "Proud of a strip of mountains and rivers", the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Student Association Secretariat presented 20 maps of Vietnam to the Ky Son District Youth Union Standing Committee.

This activity aims to increase the use of Vietnam maps in learning, working and community spaces of Vietnamese youth and people to contribute to raising awareness of sovereignty, nation and ethnicity in the current period.
