Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs offers incense to commemorate heroic martyrs

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 74th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2021), this morning (July 27), the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs held a ceremony to offer flowers and incense to the heroic martyrs resting at the Vinh City Martyrs' Cemetery.

With the traditional ethics of "When drinking water, remember the source" and "Repaying gratitude", every year on July 27, the Youth Union and staff of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Nghe An province organize many meaningful activities to show respect and gratitude to those who have contributed to the revolution through the ages.

At Vinh City Martyrs' Cemetery, officials and Youth Union members of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs offered incense to show their respect and commemorate the heroic martyrs who devoted their youth to the revolutionary cause, heroically falling to protect the Fatherland, for the independence and freedom of the nation.

Previously, on July 22, 2021, the Youth Union and the agency's leaders visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Nhan - a Vietnamese Heroic Mother under the care and rehabilitation of the Department.
