Oudomxay Provincial Department of Health visited and worked at Nghe An Department of Health

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 26, a delegation from the Department of Health of Oudomxay province, Lao People's Democratic Republic, visited and worked with the Department of Health of Nghe An.

At the working session, the representative of the delegation of Udomxay province expressed his joy at the effective cooperation between the province in the health sector. The two sides exchanged experiences in organizing, implementing and developing the health sector such as: Human resource management, training in professional qualifications, specialized techniques, management of HIV/AIDS patients, leprosy patients, reducing malnutrition rates, disease prevention and control, providing clean water sources, etc.

Overview of the working session

In the coming time, the Director of the Department of Health of MongU Dom Xay province hopes to continue to maintain cooperation between the two sides in many fields to enhance experience exchange and develop cooperation. Regularly exchange and learn from each other's experiences to improve the qualifications and professional skills of the medical staff; strengthen the integration of propaganda to raise awareness of people in border areas to proactively prevent epidemics, especially HIV/AIDS prevention in border areas.

Through the working session with the spirit of solidarity, friendliness, openness, sharing and learning experiences and achievements of the health sector between Nghe An province and Udomxay province in particular, and the two countries of Vietnam and Laos in general, to contribute to improving people's health.
