Exciting performance of Rubber Workers' Song - Green color of love

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of August 23, in Vinh City, Vietnam Rubber Industry Group held the opening ceremony of the Rubber Workers' Singing Festival in Region II.

Attending the opening night were comrades Hua Ngoc Hiep - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Rubber Industry Group; People's Artist Pham Tien Dung - Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports; and representatives of member rubber companies in the Central and Central Highlands regions.

With the theme “Rubber - Green of Love”, the 2017 festival was held in 5 regions. Region II was held in Vinh City from August 22 to 25, with 17 units from the Central and Central Highlands regions competing with 67 performances, in 3 categories: solo, duet and group singing.

In addition to performances reflecting the unique and diverse beauty of people and cultural identity of regions, the teams also brought to the audience the traditional beauty of the Vietnamese Rubber Industry.

The jury of the Festival, in addition to famous musicians of Region I such as Musician Pham Minh Tuan, Van Thanh Nho, Dang Quang Vinh, also has two local judges: People's Artist Pham Tien Dung - Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and People's Artist Hoang Thanh - Vice President of Nghe An Literature and Arts Association.

This is a traditional cultural activity, unique and special for workers in the rubber industry, held every two years. Participating in the performance are workers, rubber plantation households at member units of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group, selected from the grassroots cultural and artistic movement.

On the opening night, the audience enjoyed the special performances of 6 units: Chumomray Rubber Company, Ha Tinh Rubber Company, Chu Pah Rubber Company, Quang Tri Rubber Company, Chu Se Rubber Company and Sa Thay Rubber Company. In particular, Nghe An Rubber Investment and Development Joint Stock Company will perform tomorrow afternoon (August 24). After the competitions, the judges will vote for each unit to have 1-2 special performances to perform at the closing ceremony and award ceremony on the morning of August 25./.
