Mr. Lai Quang Minh, Deputy General Director of Central Construction Group Joint Stock Company, said: The company is constructing a 4.6 km section through Nghi Khanh, Nghi Loc and Nghi Thu - Cua Lo. Following the schedule assigned by the province, striving to open the route in the first quarter of 2021, the unit has mobilized human resources, hundreds of workers and dozens of construction locomotives to work at full speed, overcoming weather difficulties, ensuring progress. Currently, it is basically completed and is proceeding with asphalt concrete, foundation, and road surface construction. However, there are currently problems at the intersection of National Highway 46 and Nguyen Sinh Cung Street, so motorbikes have to wait for clearance. The unit hopes that local authorities will soon complete site clearance so that the contractor can construct.

According to records, by May 19, contractors had completed nearly 95% of the work volume at the cleared sites, many roads were accessible to cars. At the construction sites in Khanh Hop commune (Nghi Loc), Nghi Huong, Nghi Hoa (Cua Lo town), the roadbed and surface were basically completed. The project's progress has many important marks.
According to the progress report from the Department of Transport: Currently, the entire route has been cleared for 6.14km (5.88km of agricultural land and 0.26km of residential land), with the remaining 1.3km of residential land and part of the land at the QL46 intersection.
Specifically: Nghi Loc District has 1.08km, 1.01km has been handed over. The remaining land is at the intersection of National Highway 46 and 70m of the main route (including 2 households with houses, 01 household with vacant land, 1 corner of agricultural land).
Cua Lo town has 6.36 km passed through, currently 5.13/6.36 km of agricultural land has been handed over, the remaining 1.23 km of residential land. This is also the most congested part.
Contractors are focusing on paving asphalt concrete (BTN) on sections that have been handed over by May 2021 and basically completing the project by the end of the second quarter of 2021, with the asphalt concrete volume reaching nearly 80%.

Specifically: Cuong Thu household (main house stuck and is requesting to be arranged for 1 resettlement plot); Hang Cu household (main house stuck, is requesting to be arranged for 1 more resettlement plot) and Mr. Quy household (empty land has not yet agreed to the land compensation plan).
