The floods also damaged nearly 260 houses, of which 180 were completely washed away; cultural houses and primary schools in Hua Nam, Huoi Lieng, Huoi Hoc, Pa Phieng villages and the Nam Pam commune health station were completely washed away. Floodwaters also damaged more than 300 hectares of vegetables, fish ponds, more than 2,500 livestock and poultry. Many traffic works, electricity, domestic water, fiber optic cable systems and many other properties were also damaged....
