Collection of people's weapons of struggle in the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement
With more than 300 artifacts, mainly made of iron (spear, lance, hoe, spade...), wood (crossbow, stick...), the collection of people's fighting weapons in the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement contains great historical value.
During the revolutionary movement of 1930-1931, the people of Nghe An and Ha Tinh used very simple and primitive weapons. With creativity and courage, the people of Nghe Tinh turned everyday objects such as pitchforks, spears, halberds, hoes, shovels... into powerful weapons to fight against the modern weapons of the enemy. These weapons were carried by the people when protesting, or used for self-defense when cadres went on secret operations. In mountainous districts, ethnic minorities often used crossbows as weapons of struggle.

With only spears, lances, sticks, hoes, shovels, pitchforks, javelins..., but with revolutionary spirit, our people in the mass struggles marched straight into the district office, destroyed the prison, freed political prisoners and forced the district chief to sign the petition. After that, the masses demonstrated in the villages to punish the evil henchmen and take control of the village.
With more than 300 artifacts, mainly made of iron (spear, lance, hoe, spade...), wood (crossbow, stick...), the collection of people's fighting weapons in the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement contains great historical value. It demonstrates the resilient and indomitable fighting spirit of the Nghe Tinh people. Although the French colonialists and their feudal lackeys used all kinds of cruel schemes and policies, with their tradition of patriotism and revolution, the Nghe Tinh people stood up and fought with everything they had in their hands to gain independence and freedom.
