During the inspection, the authorities discovered that the vehicle was carrying many military weapons such as AK47 guns, B40-CB guns, B41-CB guns, grenades and sound-making equipment, etc. contained in sacks and wooden crates.

At the time of inspection, the bus driver, Bui Van Nghia, could not present legal documents related to these weapons. The incident was quickly reported to the Quang Nam Provincial Police Security Force and the Quang Nam Provincial Military Command.
