Multiple traffic accidents, North-South expressway section through Hoang Mai town is congested
(Baonghean.vn) - A series of accidents between a car, a passenger bus, and a tractor-trailer truck early this morning caused congestion on the North-South expressway through Hoang Mai town.
According to initial information, at around 7am this morning (March 2), on the North-South expressway, Nghi Son - Dien Chau section, an accident occurred.multiple accidentsbetween a car, a passenger van and a tractor truck. Witnesses said the three vehicles were traveling from Hoang Mai town to Vinh. Due to the rain and slippery road, the passenger van collided with the tractor truck.
The collision caused the tractor-trailer truck carrying heavy steel pipes to flip over and fall onto the road. Immediately after, the KIA car, unable to control its speed and distance, crashed into the back of the tractor-trailer truck, causing severe damage to the front end.
The accident occurred near the intersection between the North-South Expressway and National Highway 48D through Hoang Mai town. Although the collision was strong, fortunately there were no casualties.
Currently, authorities are clearing the scene and investigating the cause of the accident.
