Effectively implementing the theme of the 2019 traffic safety year "Traffic safety for passengers and motorcyclists", patrolling and handling of drivers violating laws on drugs, alcohol concentration, not wearing helmets... were strengthened; traffic safety management in transport business was tightened, improving infrastructure safety, handling black spots, self-opened paths...
Some shortcomings were also frankly pointed out, that is, the leadership and direction of the implementation of the task of ensuring traffic order and safety is not regular, lacks determination, does not mobilize the combined strength, and the awareness of law compliance of traffic participants is still limited.
In addition, the localized flooding on Vinh city roads that has not been effectively handled is also a matter of concern. In particular, there are still 46 black spots and potential traffic accident spots in the province that need to be resolved soon.
