Detained male shipper who hit and injured police lieutenant

This is the latest information related to the case of Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Duy Khanh, an officer of the Traffic Police Team of Cau Giay District Police, who was hit and injured by Nguyen Quang Tu (born 2002, in Dan Phuong District, Hanoi), a freelance shipper, while on duty at the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control checkpoint in Cau Giay District.

Previously, at around 4:00 p.m. the same day, Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Duy Khanh joined the Covid-19 epidemic prevention working group of Cau Giay District Police (Hanoi) to inspect the implementation of social distancing according to Directive 16 of the Prime Minister and Directive 17 of Hanoi City in the area of Ho Tung Mau Street, near the gate of the University of Commerce, in Mai Dich Ward, Cau Giay District.
While on duty, he discovered a male shipper driving a motorbike at high speed from Cau Dien to Cau Giay Street. Lieutenant Khanh signaled for him to stop for inspection. However, despite the signal, Nguyen Quang Tu accelerated.tonestraight at Senior Lieutenant Khanh, causing him to fall to the street, injuring his head and dislocating his collarbone. He is currently being treated at Hospital 19-8.
