The most difficult thing now is that the two households that have had an outbreak of African swine fever are both in the rice milling business, and people in the area come to mill rice every day, so the risk of African swine fever infection is very high. Therefore, the District Veterinary Station has consulted with the Nghia Dong commune government to find a solution to persuade these two households to temporarily stop their business activities. At the same time, it is necessary to propagate to people to limit communication and travel between households, especially at the two outbreaks, absolutely do not allow people to enter or exit.
Currently, Tan Ky district has directed Nghia Dong commune to maintain 4 quarantine checkpoints in the commune, and localities in the epidemic-threatened areas have set up quarantine checkpoints, while at the same time increasing the spraying of disinfectants and sprinkling of lime powder at livestock households; especially at 12 households raising pigs in hamlet 1 of Nghia Dong commune.
