Improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, creating people's satisfaction

I am very honored to be nominated by the Provincial Election Committee to run for the Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term. I am fully aware that this is a great honor for me personally and for the provincial health sector. If I am elected by voters as a representative of the Provincial People's Council, this will be a favorable condition for me personally and for the health sector to participate in important issues of the province, have the opportunity to interact with all walks of life and contribute my voice to the forum of local authorities.

As the Director of the Department of Health, I have noticed that in recent times, the socio-economic situation of our country has grown and changed significantly, thanks to which people have better conditions for health protection and care. In our province, the work of caring for and protecting people's health has changed in many aspects, the health situation of the people in the province has improved, the quality of medical examination and treatment has been enhanced, the state management of health has made many advances, the socialization of health has developed strongly...

However, compared to the requirements and expectations, there are still some shortcomings and inadequacies, which are: Food safety and hygiene situation, hospital overload situation, management of private medical and pharmaceutical practice, quality and price of medicine, quality of medical examination and treatment not meeting the requirements, unstable organization of the medical network. Infrastructure, medical equipment, professional qualifications and medical ethics of a number of staff are not as expected... Those shortcomings are partly the responsibility of the health sector, including the role of leaders like us.

Based on that reality, if elected as a delegate of the Provincial People's Council for the 2016 - 2021 term, with the responsibility of Director of the Department of Health, I will work with the Board of Directors and all civil servants and public employees in the sector to focus on implementing a number of key tasks: Building a team of staff strong in expertise, foreign languages, management, and medical ethics; applying new scientific and technical advances in diagnosis and treatment, aiming to continuously improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, improve the quality of service towards creating people's satisfaction; actively and proactively prevent epidemics, determined not to let major epidemics occur.

Better implement policies, improve working conditions, increase legitimate and legal income for civil servants and public employees in the health sector to create conditions for them to work with peace of mind.

Closely coordinate with relevant sectors to effectively inspect and supervise food safety and hygiene, environmental hygiene, drug price management, and private medical and pharmaceutical practice management.
