Hoang Thi Loan Textile Company is one of the production and business units that consumes a large amount of electricity. The factory uses many engines and must ensure humidity for workers. On average, the factory consumes 3.76 million kWh per month, with a payment of 5,640 million VND. If no solutions are found to save electricity, production efficiency will be low and workers' income will be affected.

Actively responding to the “Energy Saving” program launched by Nghe An Electricity Company, the company has implemented energy saving solutions such as: Replacing old equipment with high power consumption, considering installing inverters for old equipment, replacing all 2,000 energy-saving LED lights, renovating air-conditioned rooms, improving energy-saving cooling efficiency; promoting the movement of technical innovation initiatives throughout the company.

Mr. Nguyen To Canh - General Director of Hoang Thi Loan Textile Company said: With a large average monthly electricity consumption, electricity bills account for a relatively high proportion (10.17%) in product costs. Saving electricity is vital to the company's production and business activities. Therefore, we have drastically and synchronously implemented electricity saving plans. Thanks to that, the amount of electricity consumed and wasted has decreased significantly, bringing many benefits to the company, increasing productivity, output, increasing profits, reducing product costs, competing with the market, creating conditions to increase income for workers and making the company develop more and more.

In localities throughout the province, Nghe An Electricity Company also simultaneously implemented "Electricity Saving" programs. In which, it focused on propaganda work on electricity saving during the hot season, coordinated with departments, branches, and organizations, organized integrated propaganda activities to all residential areas and schools about the electricity saving program; signed commitments to save electricity for administrative agencies, production enterprises during the hot season.

Coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade to work directly with key production and business customers, requesting the implementation of capacity audit and energy management plans, such as: Hoang Thi Loan Textile Joint Stock Company, Intimex Cassava Starch Factory, TH Milk Company... In key areas, the company coordinates to open training courses on energy saving for businesses, hotels, restaurants, supermarkets...

Signing to respond to the electricity saving program.

In districts and cities such as Do Luong, Thanh Chuong, Nghia Dan, Vinh City, Cua Lo Town... from the beginning of May, Electricity has coordinated to organize the launching ceremony of the emulation movement "Family saves electricity in 2016". The goal of the program is to mobilize households using electricity for daily life to use electricity economically in the months of May, June, July, August, September, October 2016, reducing electricity output by 10% compared to the same period last year.

Building a model of electricity saving families aims to create a spreading effect in the community so that every household saves electricity, every person saves electricity. Accordingly, in offices, when leaving the room and after working hours, all unnecessary equipment must be turned off, do not leave the equipment in standby mode; increase the use of natural light to illuminate the office; use fans when the weather is not too hot; newly purchased electrical equipment must have an energy-saving label...

With many power saving solutions being implemented drastically and synchronously throughout the province, in just the first 5 months of 2016, the cumulative power saving output of Nghe An Power Company reached 14,574,227 Kwh, ensuring safe operation of the power grid and meeting the electricity consumption needs of customers.
