Speaking at the conference, comrade Bui Dinh Long congratulated the achievements of the education sector in the past school year.
In addition, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also frankly mentioned 3 existing problems of the education sector today, which are the problem of inappropriate school network planning, too many separate schools. Meanwhile, in the city, there is an overload of students and a lack of schools. This leads to difficulties in implementing new education programs, improving the quality of education and difficulty in arranging teachers. At the university and vocational training levels, there are still many schools that have difficulty recruiting students and have not received investment.

From the above shortcomings and difficulties, comrade Bui Dinh Long suggested that the Party committees and authorities need to review the planning of schools. In particular, for education in mountainous areas, solutions must be proposed to quickly reduce the number of schools. At present, localities need to prioritize investment resources for education and boarding schools. Vinh city must actively advise to expand educational and training facilities. To implement this content, the education sector also needs to advise to build and propose appropriate policies and regimes.
