Strengthening coordination and thoroughly resolving the backlog of defense land in Nghe An province

On the afternoon of November 12, the People's Committee of Nghe An province and the Military Region 4 Command coordinated to organize a meeting to unify policies and discuss measures to direct the resolution of outstanding issues related todefense land, housing policy land in Nghe An province.

After the Conference on discussing measures to resolve defense land and housing policy land in the province between the Provincial People's Committee and the Military Region 4 Command on September 10, 2019, one point was completely resolved and the locality handed it over to the Military School of Military Region 4 for management and use according to regulations.

The Command of Military Region 4 requested the People's Committee of Nghe An province to direct the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and relevant localities to closely coordinate with units with land issues to speed up the settlement of disputed defense land issues in the province.

In addition, the Military Region 4 Command also requested Nghe An province to facilitate units in carrying out procedures to grant land use right certificates to organizations and individuals, especially land plots with complete documents but still facing difficulties; Pay attention to creating conditions for arranging land funds to implement policy housing for officers of Military Region 4 in the coming time.

At the conference, representatives of departments, branches, localities; departments, offices, and divisions of Military Region 4 reported on the implementation progress and proposed many solutions to speed up the resolution of problems.

Concluding the meeting, Major General Ha Tho Binh - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 requested relevant units and localities to resolve the backlog in accordance with legal procedures and regulations, combining economic and defense issues while ensuring political security in the area.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that more than 1 year after the conference between the Provincial People's Committee and Military Region 4, the progress in resolving problems at disputed defense land areas is still slow, and some units have not resolutely implemented assigned tasks.

Therefore, in the coming time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, units and localities to focus on resolving these problems, on the principle of doing it quickly but in accordance with regulations, ensuring procedures, avoiding complicated problems, creating hot spots. In particular, priority is given to implementing tasks to speed up the disbursement of public investment capital.
