Hundreds of gifts given to students in flood-hit Con Cuong area
(Baonghean.vn) - On August 26, organizations, philanthropists and alumni of class 39, Hanoi National University of Economics, 1994-1998, directly visited and gave gifts to students of Con Cuong Ethnic Boarding Secondary School.

Through his Facebook page, the Secretary of Con Cuong District Party Committee called on organizations, philanthropists and friends to donate hundreds of gifts including: 300 towels, 900 blankets, mats, mosquito nets, 3,000 notebooks and over 600 pens to give to students of Con Cuong Ethnic Boarding Secondary School before the new school year.
During the recent floods caused by storm No. 4, the school was one of the most severely damaged places in Con Cuong district.
The entire school was submerged in water, dozens of meters3The mud and soil flooded in and completely damaged all equipment, machinery, documents, books, tables, chairs, beds, blankets in the dormitory, classrooms, cafeteria, etc.
On this occasion, a business also donated nearly 28 million VND and hundreds of textbooks to the school.
