Create a healthy playground to help prisoners actively reform and improve their personality.

On the afternoon of September 17, Prison No. 3 and Prison No. 6 (Ministry of Public Security) held a Conference to summarize the coordination work with the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province in implementing Program No. 2645.Attending the conference were Colonel Nguyen Van Loc - Deputy Director of Department C10 (Ministry of Public Security).

After 5 years of implementation, the coordination program between the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province with Prison No. 3 and Prison No. 6 has been closely implemented, diversifying forms of propaganda on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws. Cultural, artistic and sports activities have been organized in a rich variety, attracting a large number of prisoners to participate. For example: Singing about life in prison, Writing about book reviews, Propaganda and book introduction in 2018...

In the past time, Nghe An Provincial Library has donated nearly 1,000 books to Prison No. 3 and Prison No. 6 libraries; each year, 2,000 to 3,000 books are transferred to prison libraries. It provides professional support, books, newspapers, and props for competitions at prisons.

Through activities to create a healthy educational and reform environment, helping prisoners feel secure in their reform, actively train physically, improve their personality, and contribute to improving the effectiveness of educational reform and community integration.

At the conference, the units gave presentations evaluating the results achieved, and at the same time pointed out the difficulties, obstacles and limitations in the organization and implementation of the coordination plan. Representatives of prisoners serving sentences at the two camps also gave their opinions on their thoughts and aspirations, and made recommendations and proposals on related content.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Van Loc - Deputy Director of Department C10, Ministry of Public Security, highly appreciated the results after 5 years, and emphasized the need to continue to promote the coordination in implementing Program No. 2645/CTr-BVHTTDL-BCA on organizing cultural, artistic, physical training and sports activities for prisoners in the coming time. In addition, Colonel Nguyen Van Loc also requested units to actively exchange information, develop plans to organize annual activities to determine the work content that needs to be done close to reality. Through the activities, the aim is to make prisoners aware of their mistakes, comply with regulations when serving their sentences, soon return to the community, family and become useful people for society.

At the conference, 1 group and 8 individuals were awarded by Department C10, Ministry of Public Security for their outstanding achievements in coordinating the organization of cultural, artistic and sports activities in prisons in the period 2014-2018.
