Training on border management and protection for border guards of Xieng Khouang province
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 8, in Cua Lo Town, the Nghe An Border Guard Command opened a training course on border management and protection for 30 officers and border guards of the Military Command of Xieng Khouang Province, Lao PDR.
Attending the ceremony were Colonel Tran Hai Binh - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of Nghe An Border Guard.

During the training program, the lecturers communicated and exchanged some specialized professional contents, such as: patrolling, controlling, mobilizing the masses to protect the border; coordination between the two sides' forces in border management and protection; and drug control and prevention work at the border and border gates.

In addition, the soldiers were also imparted general knowledge about the history of the special friendship and the agreement on border protection regulations between Vietnam and Laos; visited, studied and exchanged practical experiences at a number of border units in Nghe An.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Colonel Tran Hai Binh hoped that Lao trainees would overcome all difficulties, especially language difficulties, to firmly grasp knowledge, and at the same time, flexibly and creatively apply it in the process of performing tasks to coordinate and effectively resolve problems arising in border management and protection activities.
The training course is expected to last 45 days.
