Border management training for 40 Lao Border Guard officers
On the morning of September 16, in Vinh city, the Nghe An Border Guard Command held the opening ceremony of a border management training course for 40 Border Guard officers of the Military Commands of Xieng Khouang and Hua Phan provinces, Lao People's Democratic Republic.

The training course aims to exchange professional knowledge and experience and strengthen coordination in border management and protection, maintain political security and social order and safety in border areas, and jointly build a common border between the two countries for peace, stability, cooperation and sustainable and long-term development.
Through the training, the friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two countries, border provinces and especially between the Nghe An Border Guard Command and the Military Command of Xieng Khouang and Hua Phan provinces will be strengthened.
This activity is the concretization of the Cooperation Agreement for the period 2023 - 2025 between the high-ranking delegation of Nghe An province, Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the high-ranking delegation of Hua Phan and Xieng Khouang provinces, Lao People's Democratic Republic in 2023.
During about 1 month, Lao Border Guard students will be trained in some basic knowledge about border management and protection, military work, border guard operations, etc.
On that basis, the two sides will coordinate more closely and effectively in border patrol, management and protection and properly resolve issues related to both sides of the border.
Speaking at the opening of the training course, Colonel Ho Quyet Thang - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of Nghe An Border Guard requested the trainees to focus on listening to the lecture, take full notes, make full use of the time, actively study and review, grasp the lecture content so that after returning to the unit, they will be responsible for imparting the knowledge they have acquired to comrades who have not participated in the training and flexibly and creatively apply it to practical management and protection work.border.
At the same time, during the training process, strictly comply with Vietnamese laws, discipline and regulations of the training course organizing committee, unite and help each other in studying and living, contributing to building a special solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
For the Organizing Committee of the training course, maintain the operation of the training course in accordance with the approved program content; manage trainees to comply with the prescribed regimes; regularly inspect and urge the teaching and learning of teachers and trainees, and propose to the Nghe An Border Guard Command to promptly resolve any related issues that arise.
Organize examinations and evaluate course results seriously, objectively and accurately; maintain cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities; especially during breaks and holidays; at the same time, based on the learning and training results of students, propose the Nghe An Border Guard Command to reward comrades with high achievements in learning and training./.
