Concentrating resources, speeding up the progress of Song Lam cement project

(Baonghean.vn) - In order to speed up the implementation of the Song Lam cement project, on the morning of March 14, leaders of Nghe An province had a working session with Hoang Phat Vissai Ninh Binh Group. Attending the meeting were comrades Ho Duc Phoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments, branches and sectors in the province.

The Song Lam Cement Plant Project in Do Luong District has been vigorously implemented by the investor to accelerate the construction progress. Up to now, the project has completed about 90% of the work volume, and it is expected that by October 2016, the first furnace will be fired and the first product will be produced.

The second production furnace is expected to be operational by November 2016. In addition, the cement grinding station in Nghi Loc district with a capacity of 3.8 million tons of cement per year has also started operation.

However, there are still some problems that investors are facing during the implementation process. These are: the site clearance work in some areas owned by Do Luong Forestry Company and Minh Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District has not been completed. The progress of the 110 KV power line construction is still slow. The transportation system serving the factory when there are products has not been completed...

Song Lam Cement project in Do Luong is being urgently completed.

At the meeting, Hoang Phat Vissai Ninh Binh Group proposed that the province should have timely solutions to help investors complete the project on schedule. In addition, it is necessary to focus on speeding up the completion of the N5 route from Do Luong to Nghi Loc to serve the transportation of products to the seaport in October this year.

The investor focuses on constructing the Nghi Thiet - Nghi Loc seaport project to serve cement transportation.

After listening to the opinions of the departments and agencies, comrade Ho Duc Phoc concluded, acknowledging the efforts of the investor for the Song Lam cement project. He emphasized: To ensure the consumption of the factory's products in October, the departments in Nghe An need to resolutely carry out the work of site clearance and complete the D4 and N5 roads.
