Fishing boat sinks in Nghe An, 6 fishermen rescued in time
(Baonghean.vn) - A fishing boat encountered bad weather and sank in Cua Lo waters. The fishermen were safely rescued by nearby fishing boats.

On the morning of March 6, in the Cua Lo sea area, fishing boat TH 6309 TS with 6 fishermen, owned by Mr. Ha Van Hieu (born in 1988, permanent resident of Quang Nham commune, Quang Xuong district, Thanh Hoa province), was fishing at coordinates 18058'N - 105059'E was sunk by waves (about 2 nautical miles southeast of Mat Island).
After the ship sank, the 6 fishermen were promptly discovered and safely rescued by nearby fishing boats.
As of this afternoon (March 7), the ship owner is contacting other ships in the fishing group to salvage and pull the ship ashore.
