Cua Lo Town has a total of 260 boats, of which 90 boats have a capacity of over 90CV and 170 boats have a capacity of under 90CV, mainly fishing near shore. Mr. Nguyen Van Trung - Head of the Economic Department of Cua Lo Town said: Today, August 31, the town requires boat owners not to go out to sea but continue to tie boats carefully.

On the morning of August 31, Mr. Tran Xuan Nhue - Head of the Shore Station (Department of Fisheries) said: Although storm No. 4 has dissipated, there are still waves and winds offshore, so the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue has not yet issued an order allowing ships to go to sea at this time, especially since a new low pressure system, which is likely to become a storm, is heading towards the East Sea.
