In addition, many small boats exploiting the offshore waters to catch crabs and mantis shrimp also earn 2-3 million VND/day. At this time, the prices of seafood products are relatively high. Tiger prawns cost 350,000-400,000 VND/kg, grade 1 blue crabs cost 600,000-650,000 VND/kg. Grade 1 ax fish costs 60,000 VND/kg, and plank fish costs more than 50,000 VND/kg.


In Quynh Di ward, fishing boats that specialize in catching anchovies are also coming home to rest for the full moon. It is the main season so the output is very high, the smallest boat can carry 15 tons, the largest boat can carry up to 50 tons.
Mr. Van Huy Thang - Chairman of Quynh Di Ward People's Committee said that since after Tet until now, local fishermen have exploited 2,000 tons of anchovies. Seafood companies have increased purchasing, steaming and drying for export.

According to the report of the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town, the estimated output of aquatic products in February 2024 was 3,930 tons. Of which: The output of seafood caught was 3,915 tons (560 tons of shrimp, 780 tons of squid, 2,505 tons of fish, 70 tons of other products), the estimated output of freshwater aquatic products was 15 tons. The total output in 2 months reached 8,884 tons, reaching 14.19% of the plan, up 2.9% over the same period.
