Appraisal of New Rural criteria in Nghia Phu commune (Nghia Dan)
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 16, in Nghia Phu commune, Nghia Dan district, the Steering Committee for New Rural Areas (NTM) of Nghe An province, led by Mr. Vi Luu Binh - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief of the Provincial NTM Coordination Office, conducted an assessment of the contents and criteria for meeting NTM standards.
CAttending were representatives of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office, departments and the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district.

Implementing the national target program, on the basis of active implementation, in 2016, Nghia Phu commune was selected as one of 6 communes of Nghia Dan district to reach the NTM finish line. To implement the above plan, within 5 years, the commune has mobilized a total budget of 128.5 billion VND to implement the criteria, of which people contributed and invested 48.44 billion VND; the superior budget supported 33.5 billion VND, credit loans 44.22 billion VND; thereby building over 20 km of concrete roads; cultural institutions, schools, and medical stations all meet standards; environmental sanitation, electricity, and planning continue to receive investment attention...

In addition, with the advantage of being a farm commune, despite many difficulties, the commune has well implemented the criteria for supporting production to eliminate hunger, reduce poverty and increase people's income. Based on the assessment, the commune found that it had completed 19/19 criteria to submit to higher authorities for appraisal.
