Serious accident kills 2 teachers in Nghe An mountainous region, 1 in critical condition
(Baonghean.vn) - The accident occurred in My Ly commune, Ky Son district, causing 2 teachers from the same school to die and 1 person to be in critical condition.
Previously, at around 4:25 p.m. on October 2, teacher Xong Ba Cha - Principal of My Ly 2 Primary School (Ky Son) drove a pickup truck carrying two colleagues, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dan (46 years old) - Vice Principal and Ms. Lu Thi Khuyen (31 years old) - a teacher at the same school to the center of My Ly commune, when they reached the road in Yen Hoa village, My Ly commune.car plunged into abyssnear the bank of the Nam Non River. The accident caused Mr. Dan and Ms. Khuyen to die on the way to the commune health station for emergency treatment.
Upon receiving the information, Ky Son district established a delegation to visit and encourage the families of the deceased and injured victims.

Representatives of the People's Committee of Ky Son district visited, expressed condolences, and presented 5 million VND and 50 kg of rice to the family of Ms. Lu Thi Khuyen in Xang Tren village, My Ly commune. The Department of Education and Training of Ky Son district supported 2 million VND, and the Red Cross Society of Ky Son district presented 1 million VND.

Earlier on the evening of October 2, leaders of Ky Son district also visited and supported Mr. Xong Ba Cha at the district medical center. Mr. Cha has now been transferred to a higher-level hospital for treatment.
Currently, along with supporting the family to organize the funeral according to local customs, the People's Committee of My Ly commune, My Ly Border Guard Station and the Education Department of Ky Son district also assigned officers and forces to protect the scene and support the family both materially and spiritually.
