(Baonghean.vn) - Thuong confessed to buying the necessary supplies himself and then researching documents on social networking sites with the aim of making his own guns to sell.

Thanh Chuong District Police have just issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecuting the accused Vo Dinh Thuong (born 1992), residing in Thi Tu village, Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Chuong district, for the crime of manufacturing and trading weapons.

Previously, on March 30, 2018, Thanh Chuong District Police caught Vo Dinh Thuong in the act of illegally storing weapons, seizing two homemade guns.

An urgent search of the suspect's residence resulted in the confiscation of items used to make guns, including: grinders, files, wrenches, motorcycle brake springs, gun-shaped steel pieces, perforated steel pieces...

At the investigation agency, Vo Dinh Thuong confessed that he bought the above items himself, researched documents on social networking sites to make his own guns, each of which was sold for 3 million VND.

The Criminal Techniques Department, Nghe An Provincial Police concluded that the examination of the two homemade guns seized from the subject showed that "Guns have features and effects similar to military weapons".

Currently, Thanh Chuong District Police are completing the documents to handle according to the provisions of law.
