Previously, on March 30, 2018, Thanh Chuong District Police caught Vo Dinh Thuong in the act of illegally storing weapons, and seized 2 homemade guns.

At the investigation agency, Vo Dinh Thuong confessed that he bought the above items himself, researched documents on social networking sites to make his own guns, each gun was sold for 3 million VND.
The Criminal Techniques Department, Nghe An Provincial Police concluded that the two homemade guns seized from the subject were "Guns with similar features and effects to military weapons".
Thanh Chuong District Police are currently completing the case file to handle it according to the law.
