Young man washes car to raise funds to help 3 orphaned brothers

As reported, in the tragic incident that occurred on June 6 in Thuong Quanh hamlet, Dong Van commune (Thanh Chuong), Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien (39 years old) died after her husband, Mr. Tran Dinh Trung (43 years old), who had a mental illness, hit her in the head with an iron pipe, leaving behind 3 young children (the eldest was in 8th grade, the youngest was only 4 years old).

In order to raise funds to help three orphaned brothers, the Dong Van Commune Youth Union organized car wash services at two locations: the intersection, Phu Xuan hamlet and along Highway 46, next to Don market in Dong Thuong hamlet. The participating force was about 20 people, including brothers in the Executive Committee of the Commune Youth Union and members and youth of Thuong Quanh hamlet.

The car wash service points of Dong Van Commune Union accept to wash all types of vehicles: motorbikes, electric bicycles, cars... With a thoughtful and enthusiastic working spirit, the 2 volunteer car wash points mentioned above attract a large number of people inside and outside the commune, passersby to wash their cars, many people who do not come to wash their cars are still willing to come to support the program.

It is known that the money raised from this charity activity will be given to three orphaned brothers in Thuong Quanh hamlet after the car wash program ends.

In Thanh Chuong district, in addition to Dong Van Commune Youth Union, a number of other commune Youth Union units are also organizing fundraising activities to help the poor in the locality.
