Border commune youth wash cars, sell sugarcane juice to raise funds to help the poor
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 14, in Thi Tu hamlet, Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Chuong district, a car wash and sugarcane juice shop appeared with quite a lot of customers. This is a fundraising service to help the poor of the local Youth Union.
In order to raise funds for the "Heart of Love" to help the poor in the area, Thanh Thuy Commune Youth Union organized car wash services, sold sugarcane juice, and sold phone SIM cards along National Highway 46 (opposite the commune health station).
Service participants include members of the Commune Youth Union Executive Committee and some young people in the hamlets.

Thanh Thuy Commune Youth Union's service point washes all types of vehicles: motorbikes, electric bicycles, cars, etc. Although they are not professional car washers, the union members and young people work quite thoughtfully, ensuring to satisfy all customers.
On the morning of May 14, many people in the area brought their cars to be washed. Some people did not come to the service point but still supported the program through their accounts and cash donations.
In just one morning, the youth group washed 53 cars, sold 200 cups of sugarcane juice, and all the donations put into the fund were nearly 5 million VND.
