Vinh City reopens Cao Thang Night Street from May 20
(Baonghean.vn) - After a temporary closure due to the Covid-19 epidemic, Cao Thang night street will reopen to serve the entertainment and shopping needs of residents and tourists.
Due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, cultural, artistic and entertainment activities had to be temporarily suspended, so Cao Thang night street was temporarily closed for a long time. However, up to now, the epidemic has been basically controlled, so Vinh City has planned to restart Cao Thang night street in the near future with many changes.

Before reopening, Vinh City will hold a meeting with Vinh Market Management Board, Hong Son Ward People's Committee and 114 registered business households to discuss specific solutions to stabilize business again. If any traders are not present, the kiosk will be considered for withdrawal to create favorable conditions for other businesses.
Regarding infrastructure, Vinh City has invested nearly 200 million VND to install sound and lighting systems, outdoor stages, etc. to better serve the entertainment needs of residents and tourists. The power grid system and booths are also being promptly renovated.

In the immediate future, the business items will be relaxed, not requiring the correct items and types as before, this will create conditions for many small traders to participate in business on the night street. In parallel, Vinh City also encourages households on both sides of Cao Thang Street to open their businesses in the evening to make the street bustling at night.
In addition, Vinh City will invite street artists, music and dance troupes, artisans... to perform at Cao Thang night street to attract tourists.

The city has a specific plan to reopen the night market from May 20. However, we also recommend that residents, tourists and business owners in the night market continue to comply with Covid-19 prevention measures and not be complacent or negligent. The city will organize disinfection spraying and arrange hand-washing stations for residents when participating in night market activities.
