Remove 13 entry and exit checkpoints between Vinh city and districts in the province
(Baonghean.vn) - After Vinh City issued a decision to change its status to Directive 19 from 0:00 on September 24, 2021, this afternoon at 13 checkpoints connecting Vinh City with neighboring districts, functional forces began to clean up and remove checkpoints.
As plannedVinh City People's Committeeissued, to implement Decision 3481/QD-UBND, dated September 23, 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee, the city will switch to implementing Directive 19 from 0:00 on September 24, 2021, except for areas under medical isolation such as: Trung Do Cooperative Apartment (Ben Thuy Ward), CT1A Handico 30 Apartment (Quang Trung Ward).

In parallel with the change of status to Directive 19, Vinh City will only continue to maintain 1checkpointat Ben Thuy 1 bridge connecting Nghe An with Ha Tinh to control people and vehicles passing by. The remaining 13 checkpoints located on main roads managed by the city, connecting with 2 neighboring districts, Nghi Loc and Hung Nguyen, will be removed.

In addition, the city's Covid-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee will set up two checkpoints at Vinh Airport and Vinh Station to coordinate with the relevant units to strictly control citizens coming to Vinh City. The Vinh City People's Committee also assigned the Vinh City Police to work with the above two units to arrange personnel and select locations for the task.
In addition, the city will continue to maintain the regular operation of 4 inspection teams and 5 mobile patrol and inspection teams to ensure epidemic prevention and control in the new situation. At the same time, the People's Committees of wards and communes will be assigned to establish 2 to 3 mobile patrol and inspection teams (headed by the Chairman or Vice Chairman of the People's Committee) to inspect the implementation of epidemic prevention and control in the areas under their management, in order to promptly detect and strictly handle violations of regulations on Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control.
