Teacher born in 1982 won first prize in the Young Teacher Teaching Excellence contest
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of April 28, Vinh University organized the final round of the Young Lecturer Competition for the 2015-2016 school year.
The first competition attracted 168 lecturers from 18 faculties across Vinh University. After 2 months of implementing the faculty-level competition with teaching content and lesson design, 29 best lecturers from 3 groups of Pedagogy, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences were selected for the final round. In the final round, the contestants will take a multiple-choice test on the computer with questions surrounding their understanding of education.

The Young Lecturer Competition is a practical activity with the aim of improving the professional capacity and pedagogical skills of young lecturers. Through the competition, the school can correctly assess the current situation of teaching, training, and self-training. At the same time, it is the basis for Vinh University to select human resources to prepare for the National Young Lecturer Competition.
According to the jury's assessment, the contest was organized with good quality, the lecture outline was carefully prepared by the contestants, focusing on innovation in methods and students' capacity.

At the end of the contest, the jury awarded 9 prizes, including 3 first prizes, 3 second prizes, and 3 third prizes.
The first prize of the contest was awarded to teacher Nguyen Thi Bich Hien - Faculty of Foreign Languages, teacher Bui Thi Can - Faculty of Political Education and teacher Tran Ngoc Toan - Faculty of Agriculture - Forestry - Fisheries. The youngest person was teacher Tran Ngoc Toan, born in 1982.
