3 more COVID-19 cases, including 2 related to Ha Loi outbreak, Vietnam records 265 cases
According to the 6:00 p.m. news on April 13 of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, up to this point, 03 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded, including 2 cases related to the Ha Loi outbreak.
Vietnam has recorded 265 cases so far.
Total number of cases: 265 cases, including:
- 160 people from abroad account for 60.4%;
- 105 people infected in the community account for 39.6%.
Number of new cases as of 6:00 p.m. on April 13: 03 cases (263-265)
CASE 263 (BN263):Female patient, 45 years old, Vietnamese nationality, residing in Ha Loi, Me Linh, Hanoi. On March 25, the patient had symptoms of malaria, sore throat, dry cough, and fatigue.
The patient was screened and tested on April 11. The patient was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 on April 13.
The patient is currently being isolated and treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2.
- CASE 264 (BN264):The patient is a 24-year-old female Vietnamese national residing in Ha Loi, Me Linh, Hanoi. The patient was screened and tested on April 11. The patient tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 on April 13. The patient is currently being isolated and treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2.

Immediately after entering the country, the patient was quarantined at a quarantine point in Thach Ha, Ha Tinh. On April 8, the patient was tested and the result was suspected of being infected with SARS-CoV-2.
On April 12, the patient was tested again and the result was positive for SAR-CoV-2.
The patient is currently isolated and treated at Cau Treo Hospital, Ha Tinh.
3. Number of people in quarantine:Total number of close contacts and people entering from epidemic areas being monitored for health (quarantined): 75,291, of which:
- Concentrated isolation at hospital: 713;
- Centralized quarantine at other facilities: 15,564;
- Isolation at home, place of residence: 59,014.
4. Treatment situation:According to the report of the Treatment Subcommittee of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
- 01 patient was announced to be cured at Bac Lieu General Hospital.
- 120 cases are being treated at 14 hospitals.
- Number of cases with negative SARS-CoV-2 test results once: 22 cases.
- Number of cases with 2 negative test results for SARS-CoV-2: 15 cases.
