6 new COVID-19 cases, including 4 in Da Nang, Vietnam has 847 patients
The 6 p.m. news on August 10 of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control said that 6 new cases of COVID-19 had been recorded, including 1 case in Quang Nam, 4 cases in Da Nang and 1 imported case in Ho Chi Minh City who was immediately quarantined. Up to this point, Vietnam has 847 patients.
CASE 842 (B842):Male patient, 8 years old, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province. The patient is the grandson of patient 774.
CASE 843 (BN843):Female patient, 65 years old, Thanh Khe district, Da Nang city, is the wife of patient 800.
Da Nang City Center for Disease Control took samples for testing, the result on August 10, 2020 was positive for SARS-CoV-2.
Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at Thanh Khe District Medical Center.
CASE 844 (BN844):Female patient, 31 years old, Cam Le district, Da Nang city.
CASE 845 (BN845):Female patient, 28 years old, Hai Chau district, Da Nang city. Patient 844, Patient 845 are medical staff at Da Nang Hospital.
Da Nang City Center for Disease Control took samples for testing, the result on August 10, 2020 was positive for SARS-CoV-2.
Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at Da Nang Lung Hospital.

CASE 846 (BN846):Male patient, 17 years old, Thanh Khe district, Da Nang (under additional epidemiological investigation).
CASE 847 (BN847):Male patient, 44 years old. On August 4, 2020, from Guam Island (USA) on flight OAE423, entered Tan Son Nhat airport and was quarantined immediately after entry.
The second sample test result on August 9, 2020 was positive for SARS-CoV-2.
Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at Cu Chi Field Hospital.
Total number of cases: 847 cases
- As of 6:00 p.m. on August 10: Vietnam has a total of 847 COVID-19 cases, of which 318 imported cases were quarantined immediately.
- Number of new cases related to Da Nang from July 25 to present: 389 cases recorded.
- From 6am to 6pm on August 10: 6 new cases recorded.
