Another student tragically drowned

Information from Mr. Tran Duc Thanh - Chairman of Dien Thang commune, Dien Chau district said: On the afternoon of April 9, a tragic drowning incident occurred in the area, causing the death of a 10th grade student.

Accordingly, in the afternoon of the same day, Thanh participated in clearing the runway on Cao Son mountain, bordering Vinh Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district. During lunch break on the mountain, Nguyen Cong Thach and 3 friends invited each other to go down to the dam to bathe, unfortunately slipped into deep water and drowned.

It is known that Nguyen Cong Thach (born 2001), is a student in class 10A4, Dien Chau 5 High School. Thach is a student with quite good academic performance.

Mr. Tran Duc Thanh - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee said: after the incident, the Commune People's Committee supported the family with 5 million VND to take care of the funeral procedures for Thach and expressed condolences to his family.
