The only contestant from Nghe An entered the final round of the Contest to learn about the Communist Party of Vietnam

Towards the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2020) and to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels and the 13th National Congress of the Party, the Central Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organized a contest to learn about the Communist Party of Vietnam for Vietnamese youth (aged 9 - 30) at home and abroad, through the form of an online contest.

After 5 weeks of online competition, there were 691,356 candidates from 67 provinces, city unions, affiliated unions, youth and students nationwide and Vietnamese youth and students studying and working abroad participating... Nghe An province with 46,557 candidates participating in the competition, continued to be the third locality nationwide in terms of the number of participants in the competition.

Candidates take turns answering 40 multiple choice questions on the website:https://timhieuvedangcongsan.vnEach question has 30 seconds for candidates to read the question and choose the answer.

The exam content includes: History of formation and development of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Achievements in economics, politics, culture, society, security and national defense of the country under the leadership of the Party; Historical figures and Vietnamese revolutionary leaders who have contributed to the Vietnamese revolutionary cause over the past 90 years.

With the excellent achievement of winning the first prize for 2 consecutive weeks, Dau Huy Minh - a student of class 12A2, Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted entered the semi-finals with 90 contestants. Winning this round, Huy Minh became the only representative of Nghe An to enter the final round which will take place on January 12 in Hanoi along with 14 contestants from across the country.

Dau Huy Minh is an excellent student at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted for many years in a row and has won high prizes in many other intellectual competitions and playgrounds.

In grades 10 and 11, Dau Huy Minh excellently won the Special Prize in the "School Traffic" contest organized by the National Traffic Safety Committee and the Ministry of Education and Training.

On December 18, 2019, surpassing 500,000 contestants, he won first prize in the contest "Youth studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" chaired by the Ministry of Education and Training, co-organized by the Central Propaganda Department and the Central Youth Union.
