At the Huynh Thuc Khang High School exam site, where the candidates with good academic performance in Vinh City gathered, the candidates did not start to leave until the end of the exam. After finishing the first exam, although the 120 minutes of testing were quite stressful, most of the candidates were excited.

This year’s Literature exam consists of two parts: reading comprehension and writing. In the reading comprehension part, candidates enjoyed analyzing two stanzas in the poem “Advice to Mother” by “child prodigy” Do Nhat Nam.

The reading comprehension questions are also quite simple, mainly identifying reduplicated words, compound words, and using rhetorical devices, and candidates can easily get 2 full points if they have a firm grasp of the basic knowledge.

In the writing section, students got 3 points for the question expressing their thoughts on the idea: A life without friendship is like a world without the sun. Although a male candidate, student Nguyen Tung Lam, Le Loi Secondary School said: I really like this question because it is very close to our lives. We all have friends and can easily feel the great value of friendship.

In addition to analyzing friendship in life, Lam also used evidence to compare friendship among famous people, in literature and in his own classroom.

The remaining question (5 points), focusing on analyzing the character of Mr. Hai in the poem “The Village” by writer Kim Lan, is also not too difficult and many students got it right.
