The body of a female student who went missing while practicing performing arts was found in a ditch.

At around 7:30 this morning (March 19), people passing by the bridge area (Hai Phu commune, Hai Hau district, Nam Dinh province) discovered a body in the ditch. District and commune police were present at the scene, cordoned off the area, and brought the body to shore. Hundreds of people gathered around to watch the incident.

The area where the body was found was in a ditch next to a field in Team 4 of Hai Phu Commune, adjacent to Hai Duong Commune. The victim was still wearing clothes and a blue helmet.

Mr. Tran Van Thiem - Chairman of Hai Duong Commune People's Committee said that the local authorities had received a report about the discovery of the body of female student Nguyen Thi Bich Vy (born 2003, residing in Hai Duong Commune, Hai Hau District) in a ditch after many days.missing. Mr. Thiem said that as of 9:30 this morning, the police were examining and bringing the body up.

Police blocked off and examined the scene.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quang (father of the female student) said that this morning the family received the sad news from people reporting that their daughter's body was found, so they went to the scene to check, and through the clothes and helmet, they accurately identified it as their daughter.

Previously, at around 1:30 p.m. on March 15, female student Nguyen Thi Bich Vy, a 10A9 student at Hai Hau B High School, asked to go to a performance practice, then lost contact.

Vy’s phone is sometimes turned off, occasionally it rings but no one answers. The family has filed a complaint with the local police for help and has been searching for her for many days but to no avail.
