According to Ms. Le Thong, owner of a clothing store on Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, every year on the occasion of September 2, the store organizes special promotions to stimulate consumption. The discounts bring quite positive results, because the number of customers coming to buy increases 3-5 times compared to normal days, and revenue increases significantly.

To avoid customers missing out on discounted items, many stores use customer service to notify consumers via phone or email to thank them. This is also a good shopping opportunity for many people who love discounted items.

Not only fashion products, technology products, electronics, electrical appliances, etc. are also being promoted by businesses with massive discounts and gifts. At traditional markets in Vinh city, prices of essential consumer goods remain stable. Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan (a trader at Hung Dung market) said that to ensure sufficient food supply during the September 2 holiday, traders had to mobilize sources and place orders many days in advance.
