How does Hoang Mai town practice social distancing after a Covid-19 case?

On the morning of May 7, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town issued an urgent telegram on implementing social distancing for Hoang Mai town according to Directive 15/CT-TTG starting from 0:00 on May 7.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town directed to stop meetings and events gathering more than 20 people in one room; not to gather 10 people or more outside of offices, schools, and hospitals; and to require a minimum distance of 2m between people in public places.

Completely stop religious ceremonies and activities with gatherings of 20 people or more at religious, belief and worship establishments; stop all cultural, sports and entertainment activities at public places.

Temporarily suspend operations of service businesses in the area, except for businesses selling essential goods and services.

Restrict people's movement. Suspend or reorganize public transport activities to limit travel and large gatherings, except for freight vehicles.

Isolation and treatment area for Covid-19 patients.

Quynh Lap Central Dermatology and Leprosy Hospital and 5 villages of Quynh Lap commune will follow Directive 16/CT-TTG starting from 0:00 on May 7. Accordingly, social isolation will be implemented according to the principle of family isolation from family, village isolation from village, commune isolation from commune, workshops and factories must ensure safe distance, wear masks, disinfect and sterilize according to regulations.

Quynh Lap is the northernmost area of ​​Nghe An, bordering Nghi Son town (Thanh Hoa province). Because the 3 villages are isolated, 7 km away from the rest, the entire commune was not locked down, but only 5 villages, with about 1,900 households.

Hoang Mai Town requires people in these 5 villages to stay at home, only going out in cases of real necessity such as buying food, medicine, emergency, working at factories, production facilities, service businesses, essential goods that are not closed; strictly follow the minimum distance of 2m when communicating; do not gather more than 2 people outside the scope of offices, schools, hospitals in public places.

Also according to the telegram, Hoang Mai town will temporarily allow students of all levels to stay home from school until further notice.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town also assigned the town police to ensure security and order in the area, coordinate with communes and wards in establishing checkpoints and blocking teams in 5 villages of Quynh Lap commune. Organize tracing at the town's centralized quarantine points; direct the police of wards and communes to establish Covid-19 tracing teams in wards and communes. Tighten management at centralized quarantine areas, absolutely prevent cross-infection in centralized quarantine areas and transmission from quarantine areas to the community.
