Weather 5/20: Central region slightly cooler than yesterday

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, due to the influence of the southern edge of the low pressure area in the West with the southwest wind causing the foehn effect, today (May 20), heat waves continue to occur widely in the Northeast region and provinces from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen with the highest temperature commonly 35-36 degrees, some places over 37 degrees. The time with temperature over 35 degrees is from 12-16 hours.
Warning:From May 21, the heat in the Northern provinces will gradually ease. In the Central provinces, the heat will last until around May 22. Disaster risk level due to heat: level 1.
