9X village girl arrested while transporting firecrackers for sale
(Baonghean.vn) - On the way to deliver goods, Dao Thi Tham, residing in Hamlet 5, Son Hai Commune (Quynh Luu - Nghe An) was arrested with evidence of 15.8 kg of various types of firecrackers.
The Environmental Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police presided over and coordinated with the road mobile inspection team - Customs Inspection Team, Nghe An Provincial Customs Department and Dien Chau Traffic Police Station, PC 67 Department, Nghe An Provincial Police, Criminal Police Team of Quynh Luu District Police to ambush and arrest Dao Thi Tham (born in 1993, residing in Hamlet 5, Son Hai Commune, Quynh Luu District) at 3:00 p.m. on December 10, on the inter-commune road in Hamlet 5, Quynh My Commune (Quynh Luu) when this 9X was transporting firecrackers.

At the time of arrest, Dao Thi Tham was driving a black Ware motorbike with license plate 37L1-325.74, Honda brand, from Quynh Hoa commune to Quynh My commune. The vehicle was carrying a sack containing 10 strings of firecrackers weighing 2.5 kg, 19 bags of firecrackers weighing 4.5 kg, 3 boxes of 36-piece fireworks (4.3 kg), and 144 firecrackers weighing 4.5 kg. The total weight was 15.8 kg.
The working group requested Dao Thi Tham to come to the Quynh Luu District Police Headquarters for verification and clarification. According to her initial statement, Tham said: On the same morning, Tham used the phone to make a transaction with a person named Tam, living in Hamlet 7, Son Hai Commune, Quynh Luu District, to buy firecrackers to resell for profit, with the above quantity, totaling 15,000,000 VND. All of the above firecrackers were delivered to her home by Tam.
At around 1 p.m. the same day, a man named Hai called to bargain to buy the above firecrackers for 15,500,000 VND. Then Tham made an appointment with Hai to come to the inter-commune road in hamlet 5, Quynh My commune to deliver the above firecrackers, but on the way, he was arrested by the authorities.
Currently, the incident is being investigated by the authorities.
